This policy explains what information Pilot Local collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain.
Information we collect
- Business details you give us: your business name, trade, service area, and phone number, so we can build and run your website.
- Account and contact information: your email address and the contents of messages you send us.
- Payment information: handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We keep a record of your subscription status and a Stripe customer reference.
- Usage data: basic technical information such as your IP address and browser, used to operate the service, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
How we use it
- To generate, host, and maintain your website.
- To process your subscription and send service messages.
- To provide support and respond to your requests.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the providers that run the service for us, such as Stripe for payments and our hosting and AI infrastructure, and only as needed to deliver the product. We may disclose information if required by law.
Your content and domain
The website content we generate for you and any domain you connect remain yours. You can export your site and cancel at any time.
Data retention
We keep your account and site data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, we retain limited records as needed for legal and accounting purposes, then delete the rest.
Your choices
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing us. We will respond promptly.
